Assessments
Emotional Intelligence (EQ) according to researches at Swinburne University, (Genos EI developers) Emotional Intelligence “refers to the capacity to deal effectively with one’s own and others’ emotions. When applied to the workplace, Emotional Intelligence involves the capacity to effectively perceive, express, understand and manage emotions in a professional and effective manner at work.” EQ may be used for a variety of developmental objectives including:

  • Listening and oral communication skills
  • Interpersonal relationships

  • Negotiating skills
  • Conflict management

360 Degree assessments integrate feedback from multiple sources such as employee, sub-ordinate(s), superior(s), peer(s), and customer(s) during performance appraisal evaluations is known as the “360 Degree Assessment”. This assessment allows further opportunities of identifying developmental opportunities within employees. Statistics show the increase of communication of an employee with their supervisor, peer, and sub-ordinates (if applicable) after the administration and interpretation of a 360 Degree assessment.
